No.
[Whispers dance behind his words.]
But we can talk right here, you and me. What is it?

[The nephilim's face sinks a little. Getting off on easy targets, Aunamee? He can't act as if he's not partially to blame, what with the oversized tentacle-wrap arm he's got now, thanks to their godly mother.]
Fine, we can speak here.
I want to discuss your killing of Reira Akaba, recently.

[Even though his face is obscured by his mask, he gives off the impression of frowning. His tone is contrite.]
One of the priests had to go, and we couldn't reach Marco. We tried to make it quick.

You know, it didn't actually untether our dimensions. I would have done anything to leave there, I assure you, but I think Reira's death may have been... for naught.
I'm sure you're aware the image the fog has, and I'm trying to fix that, for recruitment purposes. We have a tendency to look very... power hungry. I've been trying to lead Reira away from the fourth, for the good of us all.

[His tone darkens. He closes the door behind him with a dull thud. ]
Do you think that I'm power hungry, Mr. Spengler?
no subject
I think we certainly appear that way, especially considering the people at the top of the fog's church seem to be the most comfortable with and encouraging of violence, especially towards other monsters. If we want the church, and the fog, to grow stronger, I think we should be a bit more... subtle.

[He speaks like a stern father, cold and unwavering. His eye sockets, barely visible through his mask, bore into Egon's skull. ]
You think I'm power hungry. You think I'm weakening Her.
[The fog at his feet grows unsettled, circling endlessly like the beginnings of a tornado. He steps forward. ]
You said that you'd do anything to leave Felfri, but that's a lie. Say it. Say that it's a lie.

Killing children when there are perfectly viable adult targets.
[The thing you underestimate, though, is that Egon no longer cares whether he lives or dies.]
I am not lying. AM, Flug Slys, and I all working expressly to free us from Felfri. You may have been the ones to make the sacrifices that let us in, but we uncoupled us and took down the cube.
Don't you call me a liar.

I want to make sure I'm clear, Egon. You had no problems with the dozens of humans we killed. You only had a problem with the child. The priest.
