Aunamee, this is Daniel Dickens. It seems this place has allowed me to return here.
[And then he waits, to see how the other man chooses to react to this news.]
<saturnschild>
Of course it did, dear Daniel. You're special. The Fog God wouldn't dare neglect you.
Where are you?

[Danny is nothing if not accommodating when it comes to Aunamee.]

Come quickly.
[When Daniel arrives, he won't need to open the front door -- Aunamee is already there, holding it open for him. A sliver of paranoia kept him from using his less undead form to greet Daniel, the form where he could kiss him with human lips, hold him with human hands. He's skeletal, and his face is obscured with unfeeling shattered glass.
He's harder to kill like this. He wouldn't put it beyond his enemies to tempt him with the face of an old lover.]
You're human.
[Just like Rachel. Just like himself. The smile is audible in his voice.]

Yes, I am... at least, for now until I am eventually restored to my previous self once more. Or at least I assume that it is only a matter of time before I will be going through the transformation process all over again...
[He almost actually misses being a vampire, just a little, but not the actual turning part, that tends to be really painful. But even if he doesn't say so, he's doing a rather good job not seeming too afraid of potentially losing his humanity again once more in this place.]

He wants to control it.]
If only I could kiss you.
[Instead, he traces the length of Daniel's cheek, curling his white-gloved finger around his chin.]
I didn't think I'd see you again.

I must admit, one of my very first thoughts upon waking up again in this place was concern over whether or not I'd be able to see you again either. I am relieved that my worries were unnecessary, seeing you now.

I'll always be here, Daniel.
[His words are quiet but intense, a storm cloud crossing over the horizon. But then it breaks, and he pulls him in closer, wrapping an arm around his shoulder.]
How did you arrive? I hope it wasn't too unpleasant.
no subject
Mm, about as abrupt as it was the first time. This time it was waking up in a mall full of mannequins.
[He says, with a slight eyeroll accompanying it. The mannequins had been very annoying.]
