Aunamee is completely skeletal, although you wouldn't necessarily know it. He drapes himself in white clothing that completely obscures the bones underneath. He also wears padding and heavy fabric to provide the illusion that he still has his flesh.
His entire head is covered with a helm made out of shattered glass. If you look closely, you'll find two small holes for him to see through. He does not have eyes, but rather empty eye sockets that function as eyes. (Note: this helm can be removed. He only wears it to hide his face.)
Every major joint (shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees, ankles) is cracked and broken, and if you tug them hard enough, they will readily detach. His spine is also completely severed at his neck -- there are several centimeters of empty space between the broken bones. His skull is cracked as well, with two deep holes punched into his temples.
His raiment, a long white cloak, emerges from the top of his detached spinal cord. He tends to wrap it around his spine to provide the illusion that his head is still connected to his neck. He can control the cloak as though it's a limb, and enjoys using it to strangle people. Because the raiment is stuck in his spinal cord, he cannot remove it.
He has grown progressively more obsessive, and tends to find himself stuck on ideas.
On fog days, Aunamee's organs (excluding his heart) gradually grow back from the inside out. Nerves, veins, and stray muscles wrap themselves around his bones. Organs blossom. Only one of his eyes grows back -- unfortunately, because he usually sees out of his eye sockets, this eye blocks his vision.
If the process is allowed to finish, he will resemble a freshly dead version of his human self in three days. All of his major joints remain broken, however, and his head is still detached from his spinal cord. (His raiment exits from the hole in his neck.) His mouth is torn up at the lips, and he has two puncture wounds in his skull that visibly compress brain tissue.
Aunamee typically spends the first few days of the fog methodically picking himself clean, since he'd rather be a skeleton than mutilated corpse.

His phylactery is a small, golden pocket watch.
